Kuwait, Accounting & Business Studies Teacher

For one of our clients an International School based in KUWAIT, we are looking to hire teachers for the academic year 2024-2025.

Position:  Accounting & Business Studies High-School Teachers

Our Client has different schools in Kuwait that deliver a curriculum that draws from the best curricula globally, including American Common Core internationally benchmarked standards and Canadian best practices. Schools are evaluated and accredited by the Middle States Commission (MSA-CESS) and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.

Teachers are expected to join by August 21, 2024. On arrival, the teachers will attend a 2-week training. Working in Kuwait allows teachers to enjoy an international teaching experience, learn about fascinating cultures, and, travel to exotic places like Dubai, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, India, Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nepal, etc,

Salary band € 1900 – € 2200 per month (Net)


1. Tax-free salary.

2. Free furnished accommodation.

4. Free round-trip economy class air ticket for each completed year of service to the nearest international airport in the country of domicile.

5. Medical Insurance provided by the Kuwait Government.

6. Visa and Residency expenses in Kuwait will be borne by the school.

7. Free transportation between the accommodation and the school. Note: Please note that due to visa restrictions in the country, we issue visas only to the staff.   


Teachers must meet the following requirements to teach in Kuwait:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s in Accounting & Business Education or similar
  • At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience as a teacher in Accounting & Business Studies or Economics high school classes
  • Previous teaching experience in an international school is a plus
  • A clear national Criminal Background Check  
  • A clean bill of health from your doctor in your home country


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
  • Develops schemes of work, lesson plans, and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
  • Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development.
