The Role

As an Overhead Transmission Linesman duties include:

• General Rigging, carrying out pre-inspection checks
• Earthing tasks
• Jumpering
• Platform building/raising
• Jointing
• Running conductors and earth/ground wires
• Steel assembly and elevation tasks
• In-site steelwork replacement
• Install downleads in accordance with diagrams
• Install anti-climbing devices
• Operate effectively as part of a team
• Follow relevant company policies, procedures, and documentation
• Carry out other tasks as directed

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in:

• Tower elevation
• Steelwork replacement
• Full and partial structural replacement
• Maintenance work
• Steel lattice tower experience is essential
• Formal qualifications (relevant) would be desirable
• English language requirement – all applicants will need to meet the requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, this includes meeting the minimum 4.0 IELTS score in each section.
• A team player
• Valid car driving license
• No adverse immigration history.
